New White Paper Published

We are pleased to share with you our recently released white paper "Identifying breakage issues in crown closure bottles" written by Dr. Clarissa L. Justino de Lima and Peter de Haan of our Delft, the Netherlands testing laboratory.  The paper was published in the March/April issue of Glass Worldwide.

Research Engineer, Brain Collins retires after 35 years at AGR

Our American Glass Research Research Familly wishes Brian the best of luck for a long, relaxing and properous retirement.

Brian has carved out an impressive legacy during his time at AGR. He developed an expertise in the operation and maintenance of multiple Scanning Electron Microsopes over the courese of his career and is considered a world leading expert in Stone Identification and is a subject matter expert based on his teachings. 

He co-authored a book entitled, "Color Atlas of Stones in Glass".  Learn more about it or order it here.

He will be greatly missed here at AGR for both his knowledge and fellowship but realize he has earned his chance to enjoy retired life.
