Although semi-retired after 44 years at AGR, Gary will continue to provide training to the industry as a lecturer focusing on Coatings and Fracture Technology Seminars. In addition, he will continue on as a mentor to the next generation of seminar instructors and will remain involved in select projects that focus on glass properties, surface chemistry and surface coatings on containers. He has been issued two U.S. patents and has authored multiple papers. Gary obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and his Masters Degree in Polymer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
